I can not express how greatful I am for my grandchildren. I had no idea how much I would love them! This is probably the best part of my life. Each one is so different and each has touched me in so many ways. I love them all!!

I love celebrating St Patricks Day because it reminds me the Spring is not far away. We always have a treasure hunt to see if we can find the pot of gold! We haven't found the gold yet but we do find other treasures.

My Blog

Why a Blog? A blog can seem so superficial, most blogs only post the glimpses of our lives that are the peaks and valleys, so to the reader it can seem that another life is more blessed or more fun or maybe in my case pretty boring. It is not to interesting to say I did the dishes and the laundry today, although most of my days are like that. I like to blog because it helps me to remember things, with that in mind why share? I share for my grandchildren and great niece I think it is fun for them. With all this said, i want to put a disclaimer that this really does not represent my life it is much more mandarin and has it struggles just like all of you.

Toscanini

"A few years ago, when Arturo Toscanini was musical director of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra in New York City, he had a Saturday afternoon radio Broadcast. And one day he received in his mail a crumbled up little note on some brownish paper which read: "Dear Mr. Toscanini, I am a lonely sheepherder in the mountains of Wyoming. I have two prized possessions: an old violian and a battery radio. And the batteries are getting weak and begining to run down on my radio , and my violian is so out of tune I can't play it anymore. Would you please sound a A next Saturday on our program?" The next week on the progarm Arturo Toscanini annouced "To a new found friend in the mountains of Woming, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra is now, and all together and in unison, going to sound a perfect A." And they sounded a perfect A. Then the lonely little man was able to tune The a String and then the E string and then the D and the G from that perfect A.
