Day three also included the hop on hop off bus tour for Down Town and Up Town Manhattan. It was fun to see where different move stars live.

We checked on the NBC store by the today show. They had some fun things in there.

Look at their Desserts yum. We bought a dozen cupcakes and later took them to our room and did a taste taste. There was no clear winner because we loved them all

On the way to the Today show we spotted a Magnolias which was on my list of things to do when were in New York. Magnolia's started the cupcake craze.

Al was so nice he shook all the kids hands. The kids never said anything so I don't know what they thought?

Day Three we ahead to the today show and get to see Al

I think the candy store down the street from Serendipity was Ady's favorite.

Our second day we went to a Yankee's game. It was a bit hot, Aleisa almost melted! My poor Ady had a little bit of a struggle in the heat but she did awesome. I think Stockton and Kelly enjoyed the Yankee game the most. Brandi is giving Aleisa a hard time in the pic! I know neither one of them were as cool as a cucumber. Hey look there is Metlife!

We went to the Lion King on Broadway. The kids loved it. Even Kelly who said she didn't like the Lion King

Dinner at Mars 2112. Wouldn't recommend it again. The food was not very good!

Our first day we spent the afternoon exploring Time Square. We found a lot of fun things there. We found the M&M Factory

New York here we come

My sister and I take a trip some where fun every year. This year we decided to take our oldest grand kids to New York. Their Mom's wanted to come also. This made a group of seven. We took the red eye on Jet Blue and got to New York around 5:30 am. We took a taxi and had breakfast and sleep for three hours and got up and started our journeys.

It was a birthday week

We ended the week with a Birthday celebration for my sister and started our trip to New York

Remembering Laramie

We couldn't let the week go by without taking some time to remember Laramie. His new headstone is in place. It was sad to see that no one had visited is grave. But we will always remember him.
