The very best part of my birthday was this picture. This is the first picture that all my grandkids tried to make it a good picture. I love it! Wish they were not growing up so fast.

Aaron's Birthday

Our little Aaron died a year ago. we celebrated his birthday by going to the cementary and building a snow man and letting balloons go. The balloons and lights in them. The best part is the smiles it brought to some faces

Christmas Day

I took over a hundred pictures on Christmas Day so here are some of the best. We start Christmas morning out by going to each of our kids house and see what are grandchildren got for Christmas. When we got to Brandi' and Sam's house we found the Stockton had a present for Grandpa. A nerf gun. Later that night he gave all his cousins one he had saved up his own money to buy them including his birthday money. He is awesome! We end the day at our house with a Christmas dinner and presents. It was a great Christmas

My Blog

Why a Blog? A blog can seem so superficial, most blogs only post the glimpses of our lives that are the peaks and valleys, so to the reader it can seem that another life is more blessed or more fun or maybe in my case pretty boring. It is not to interesting to say I did the dishes and the laundry today, although most of my days are like that. I like to blog because it helps me to remember things, with that in mind why share? I share for my grandchildren and great niece I think it is fun for them. With all this said, i want to put a disclaimer that this really does not represent my life it is much more mandarin and has it struggles just like all of you.

Toscanini

The next week on the progarm Arturo Toscanini annouced "To a new found friend in the mountains of Woming, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra is now, and all together and in unison, going to sound a perfect A." And they sounded a perfect A. Then the lonely little man was able to tune The a String and then the E string and then the D and the G from that perfect A.
