I was told by a certain someone that I was doing too many slide shows. I was thinking about that last night and thought okay this week I would post a single picture. My lesson this week in Church was about “My Baptismal Covenants” and since my grand kids like to look at this blog I thought I would post something to do with this. This is a picture of my oldest Grandson the day he was baptized. I think it is such a special picture.

This lesson I prepared made me think about me and my baptismal convents. I think maybe I didn’t have a full understanding at the time I was baptized that I was taking on the name of Jesus Christ. That I was coveting to be called his daughter. I was promising that I would bear my bothers burdens that I may help make them lighter and I would comfort those that need comfort. I was promising that I would stand as a witness of God at all times and in all things and in all places. I would serve God and keep his commandments. This lesson made me think I must try harder.

I also thought about my oldest granddaughter who will be baptized this summer. I can hardly wait what a special time this will be. I look so forward to these times and that special spirit that you feel. This time I will take more pictures.

I can’t believe that Gavin won’t be far behind. What good times I have to look forward to.

I want my grand children to know that I do know that Christ was born and was crucified and that he suffered for our sins. That he will be resurrected and that we will see him again and we will see Laramie again. I also want them to know that I love them very much and that this knowledge can bring them great happiness. I won’t have my next blog be so serious. I don’t think?

I can not express how greatful I am for my grandchildren. I had no idea how much I would love them! This is probably the best part of my life. Each one is so different and each has touched me in so many ways. I love them all!!
