Happy Birthday Stockton! It is hard to get all 8 in the picture! But look I almost did it... almost three times. Maybe next time

Stockton's Birthday

It was Stockton's Birthday this week. We celebrated Sunday. Each one of the kids had their turn on the pinata. Here is Stockton's final blow. They had a game of tug a war with grandpa. Guess who won? Mom (Stockton's) made cup cakes from the Lion House Recipe book yum! I made Stockton a carrot cake. I did it in purple because I thought that was the Jazz colors. When did they change?? We love Stockton and wish him the best year ever!

Stockton's Piano Recital

Stockton also had his Piano recital this week. There was an accident on the freeway and it made me late for his recital and I missed him playing. Stockton was so sweet he played it for me afterwards. I think he did a great job!

Another great week

It was a busy week. Last weekend I planted some pots for my Patio and attended Adyson's dance recital. Sam and the boys mowed my lawned. Stockton is getting old enought to drive the tractor. It was another great week!

Today is mothers day. I have been thinking of my mom who is 74 years old. She still works hard and has an immaculate home and garden. Her garden is always beautiful. She is a very special lady with very high standards and morals. I love that about her she has sent such a good example for me and my daughters and even my little grand daughters. I love spending time with my mom. She always makes everything beautiful all around her. Even when life may not be so pretty. I love you mom.

It was a busy week. The week started with three of my Grand kids spending the night Saturday night. This is a picture of Sunday morning watching the cat eat his breakfast. Monday I went to Vernal to vist brokers and my mom and sister. My mom and I made wheat bread. We also went to the nursery shopping for flowers. I like to buy her flats of flowers for Mothers day. We went out and got Brandi a start of a Peony (white one and pick one) . Mom picked some tulips to bring in the house. When I came back to Salt Lake on Thursday Daniels was closed so I had to turn around drive back to Duchene and go through Indian canyon and then Spanish Fork canyon. what would have been a 3 hour drive ended up being a 5 1/2 hour drive.

Where in the World is Grandpa?

Grandpa left for South Africa today May 6th at 8:30 am. He will fly across the country and arrive in Atlanta at 2:15 this afternoon. He has a very short stay there. He will leave there at 3:35 pm and will be in the air until Wed May 7th he will arrive in Johannesburg, Sou at 4:35 pm .
Boy he is going to be tired! He will stay the night in Johannesburg and then get up the next morning and fly to Richards Bay he will be there at 11:25 am.

It is not the same time all over the world, for us the time will be quit different when Grandpa arrives in Atlanta instead of it being 2:15 pm it will be 12:15 pm. You can go to the world time clock by going to http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/. Notice the minutes are all the same but the hours are different. When Grandpa lands in Johannesburg on May 7th at 4:35 in the afternoon it will be 9:35 in the morning here. When he gets to Richards Bay it will be 70 degrees, but this Saturday scattered clouds. You can watch the weather here to see what it will be like http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/68387.html#History . Do you know where Johannesburg Is? Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johannesburg_South_Africa_Temple
And you will see. Did you know there is an LDS temple there?

It's usually all about the grand kids. But it's nice to go out with my daughters and just enjoy them. I have the most wonderful daughters and granddaughters. One of my granddaughters is still too small to enjoy girls night out. I think Adyson had a good time?
