It is Done!!

I have such great help! Brandi, Sam, Jody and Kasey helped me get the cake to the wedding. I held the second layer on my lap and we took the stand in Brandi's car. Sam drove my car and Jody held the top layer. Poor Kasey he rode in the back of my Honda and kept the bottom layer from sliding around. The bottom layer weighed about 30 lbs. It was 18 inches round.

Okay top layer done. I need to make more dots tonight and start the third layer tomorrow

Okay first layer done. I don't think the top layer will be hard. I am hoping to do it later today. But... I am so worried about the bottom layer. I think the bottom layer weights about 20 lbs. I am also worried about transporting it to the location.

Watching my Grandsons

Brandi and Sam went to Tessa's wedding and I watched the boys. Brandi asked me to get the ready and bring them to the wedding lunch at Temple Square. I think she was worried I couldn't do it. Here is proof. We had a great time. The boys laughed at me when we were driving down the freeway and I seen a foot hanging out of a car. For just a few minutes I thought it was real and almost had a heart attack.

Pj's wedding cake

This is the Wedding cake Karen and I did for her son PJ. He is a rock climber. I made the cake and Karen made all the cute little decorations.

Happy Birthday Aunt Elva. It was my Aunt Elva's 80th birthday. They had a party and everyone was suppose to bring her a hat because she loves hats. This was my favorate hate. The picture on the right is my Aunt Elva and her three sisters including my mom who is next to aunt Elva.

Grandma Massey came to visit

I love it when my mom comes to visit. She came out for her sisters birthday and stayed a few days with us. We had family home evening at Jody's house and had Daison and Brandi's family come. Jody did a great Job!

I was in the process of doing wedding cakes and my mom did every dish. If you notice in the background of the finished wedding cake she was pretty tierd after we were done.
